We've got 2018 by the trend!

May 10, 2018

Décor Trends–From marble and copper on the table to ruffles and velvet for linen, we’ve been seeing these trends pop up in fashion, home décor and now parties. Dare to be on trend. It’s okay to mix and match to create the look and feel that you want.

Color of the Year–The Pantone color of the year is Ultra Violet. A purple hue that you will see all over Mitzvahs and parties in 2018.

Confetti Balloons–Nothing says party like confetti, so why not have them in your balloons. Confetti and glitter stuffed balloons will get guests in the party mood. Disclaimer: check with your venue before you pop
confetti balloons.

Pass-around Desserts–Why not pass desserts like appetizers? Guests won’t have to step off the dance floor to make their way to a dessert table. Party-goers will appreciate dessert on the move. Popular pass-arounds include: cake bites, cotton candy, cookies, donut holes and chocolate covered fruit.

Nostalgic Foods/Comfort Food–Chicken nuggets, tots, pop rocks and cookie dough have made a comeback. This just goes to show good things are always in style, just make them your own.

Food Bar Innovation Stations–Kimchee bars, Poke Bowl stations, popsicle bars, juice carts, Nutella bar, themed pizza bar-Detroit, NY and Chicago-style pizza-why not debut them all.  Creativity in the food experience sticks with your party-goer.

Rolled Ice Cream–The National Restaurant Association named Rolled Ice Cream a top trend for 2018.

Pre-Mitzvah Photo-shoot–Memories, memories, memories… Hire your mitzvah photographer to shoot your theme personality, a fun album cover and by album we mean stage an album cover for social media or photos. Post them on or before your event for the guests to enjoy.

Selfie Walls–concrete for an urban feel, lush greenery with a pop of neon, selfie walls add to the décor and of course an added photo opportunity for your guests.

360 Degree Photo Booth–This trend may not be here yet, but we are seeing photo booths on the spin. Capture leaps, turns, high fives at every angle with this spin camera technology.  Favors from every vantage point.
